Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to payments made on Gippy Food Trucks.

1. Directory listings and subscriptions

Payments made for listings or subscription plans are generally non-refundable, except where required under Australian Consumer Law.

This includes:

  • Change of mind

  • Failure to use the service

  • Early cancellation of a subscription

2. Exceptions

A refund may be considered if:

  • There has been a technical error resulting in duplicate payment

  • The service was not provided as described due to a fault on our part

Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of payment.

In limited circumstances, we may consider a refund outside of our standard policy.

This may include:
– Technical errors resulting in duplicate or incorrect charges
– Services not provided as described due to a fault on our part
– Requests to cancel an annual subscription part way through the subscription period

Requests to cancel an annual subscription may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and, at our discretion, may be eligible for a pro-rata refund for the unused portion of the subscription period.

Any such assessment does not guarantee a refund and will take into account the nature of the request, time elapsed, and services already provided.


3. How refunds are processed

Approved refunds will be processed via the original payment method (Stripe or PayPal) and may take several business days to appear, depending on your provider.

4. Consumer rights

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, including guarantees that services will be provided with due care and skill.
